Five pro sports teams coming together to help curb the violence in Chicago is beyond powerful. The Sports Alliance, made up of the Bulls, White Sox, Blackhawks, Bears and Cubs has embraced the ‘Choose to Change’ program. It is a community-based intervention combining intensive mentorship and trauma-informed therapy. It is working.
