Neuropsychiatric Disorders Among Adult Emergency Department Patients With IDDs
Health Lab Faculty Co-Director Harold Pollack and partners recently published an article on the prevalence of neuropsychiatric disorders among adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The study examines data from individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) admitted to emergency departments, and its findings underscore the need for comprehensive services and support for the full lifespan of those living with IDDs.
