- Health Lab Faculty Co-Director Harold Pollack published the "Medicaid’s Essential Investments to Address Health-Related Social Needs" in Milbank Quarterly Opinion
- Health Lab Faculty Affiliate V. Joseph Hotz co-authored the “Pathways to Reduce Child Poverty: Impacts of Federal Tax Credits” report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. This report had many important findings, including that expansions of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit (CTC) as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 reduced child poverty in the United States by nearly half, lifting more than 2 million children above the poverty line.
