Winnie van Dijk is a Ph.D. candidate in the economics department at the University of Chicago. She will be a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Chicago Becker Friedman Institute during the 2019-2020 academic year, and will be joining the economics department at Harvard University in July of 2020. Her research focuses on design and evaluation of institutions and public policies shaping low-income households’ interactions with markets for labor, housing, credit, and education. She received a B.Sc. degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an M.Sc. degree from the London School of Economics, and an M.A. from the University of Chicago.
