Winnie van Dijk is a Ph.D. candidate in the economics department at The University of Chicago. Winnie was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Chicago Becker Friedman Institute and joined the economics department at Harvard University.
Her research focuses on design and evaluation of institutions and public policies shaping low-income households’ interactions with markets for labor, housing, credit, and education. She received a B.Sc. degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an M.Sc. degree from the London School of Economics, and an M.A. from The University of Chicago.
