Diyanet works as a Research Analyst at the University of Chicago Health Lab, where she contributes to projects focused on health disparities, medical debt, and access to care. Her work involves conducting data analyses, collaborating with both internal and external partners, and supporting research that informs policy and practice in healthcare. She has been involved in projects analyzing oral health disparities among incarcerated populations and exploring the impact of medical debt relief interventions.

 

Prior to working at the Health Lab, Diyanet completed her master’s degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) at the University of Chicago, where she developed a strong background in data science, public policy, and research methods. Diyanet also has experience working as a social worker in China, where she partnered with healthcare professionals to promote early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Her academic and professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to leveraging data and technology to drive meaningful change in health and social policy.
