Chaline works with the Roommates Project and the Comprehensive Care, Community, and Culture Program as an AmeriCorps Housing Specialist. She assists in developing a shared housing program for seniors, recruits participants, and addresses participants’ unmet social needs.
Chaline brings over 33 years of experience assisting and managing in public service with the City of Chicago. With the City of Chicago Department of Administrative Hearings (DOAH), Chaline worked in various management and administrative positions including as a Senior Administrative Assistant in the appeals review process. As an Inquiry Aide with the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, she advocated for clients in obtaining services and assistance with regulatory requirements and documentation guidelines. She also provided support to and participated in meetings with supervisors, subordinate staff, and major office managers.
Chaline obtained an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) in Business Administration and Accounting in 1995 from Robert Morris College and later went on to purse her bachelor's degree at Xavier University in New Orleans.
