Meredith Patten is a Research Manager with the Crime Lab New York and Education Lab. Mere holds a Bachelors degree from Occidental College, an MS from American University, and a PhD in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Criminology and Deviance from the City University of New York, Graduate Center/John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She will be working on a variety of criminal justice and education projects with the team. Most recently, Mere was the Executive Director of the Research Network on Misdemeanor Justice. Prior to that she was the Programme Leader and Associate Professor for the Institute for Criminology and Public Safety (ICPS) at the University of Trinidad and Tobago and a Research Assistant Professor charged with conducting evaluations of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
