Jannis Hamida is a Research Fellow in the Energy & Environment Lab working with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on environmental policy research and methane abatement. Prior to joining the Lab, he worked for three years as a public policy consultant on the design and implementation of results-based financing mechanisms to improve the effectiveness of public spending and aid programs. He also conducted traineeships with the United Nations Environment Program and with the European Commission. Jannis holds a master’s degree from MIT in data, economics and development policy, a master’s degree in economics from the University of Freiburg and a bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po.
