Cristobal Pinto Poehls is a Research Associate at the Inclusive Economy Lab. He brings over 13 years of experience working with large-scale administrative data, complex econometric analyses applied to program evaluation, and predictive modeling using advanced machine learning techniques. Prior to joining the Inclusive Economy Lab, Cristobal spent 9.5 years at the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab and Education Lab working on projects related to education, justice-system involvement, and mental health. He is an active researcher with published and working papers in his areas of expertise. Cristobal holds a master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a bachelor's and professional degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Chile.
