Arundhati Tillu is a Research Fellow for the E2e (Energy Efficiency) Project for Evidence-Based Policy at the Energy and Environment Lab. She is an applied microeconomist with a PhD in Economics from the University of Arizona. She is currently working with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) to identify and test promising approaches to energy efficiency.
Her doctoral work examines and quantifies challenges for electricity distribution grids in providing reliable power supply in India. Previously, she worked as a Risk Manager for IDBI Bank, a national bank in India, where she helped make prudent credit decisions. She holds a M.A. (Economics) and B.A. (Economics and Statistics) from the University of Mumbai, India.
