Alejandro Ruizesparza is a Research Analyst in the Poverty Lab. Alejandro graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology before undergoing graduate school in the UK on a Marshall Scholarship. At the University of Glasgow, they graduated with a Master’s of Science in Sociology followed by a Master’s of Science in Data Analytics. A proud South Sider born-and-raised in Gage Park, Alejandro is involved in local data activism, journalism with South Side Weekly, and civic tech with groups like R-Ladies Chicago.
