Shotaro Beppu is a Project Associate at the Energy & Environment Lab. Previously, Shotaro was a master’s student at MIT’s Data, Economics and Development Policy program and worked on urban/international economics topics using spatial data. He received his bachelor’s at the University of Tokyo, studying data science and economics. He also previously worked at the World Bank DIME using NLP in development projects. In his free time, he enjoys sports and wants to get better at cooking.
