Sam Edds works on the COPS program, studying the impact of police spending on crime, and also supports local Chicago analytic initiatives.

She previously graduated from Nielsen’s Data Science Emerging Leaders Program where she applied statistical methodologies to solve client problems and managed data projects. She holds a BA in international studies from the University of Chicago.

In her spare time, Sam enjoys playing practical jokes on unsuspecting friends, spending time with her corgi Hugo, and creating her own themed tours at art museums.
