Gregory Stoddard works on applying machine learning techniques to a number of different Crime Lab New York projects.

Greg’s research focuses on understanding and optimizing the behavior of large socio-technical systems, with a particular emphasis on economic incentives. Before joining Crime Lab New York, he was a data scientist in residence at Digg.

He holds a PhD in computer science from Northwestern University.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys watching and playing hockey, reading, and playing board games.
